We do believe in common sense, however some rules are necessary in a public forum like this.

We want to ensure the usability of the forum for every participant. For this purpose we reserve the right to remove or edit any content not corresponding with the forum rules. Furthermore we reserve the right to deactivate the accounts of users who continually break the rules.

If you believe that someone has violated the forum rules, please send a private message to one of the admins including a short description of the problem and a link to the content. Such a notification is of course voluntary and anonymous. Please do not act on your own, always ask an admin to take action.

1. Posting
A forum like this benefits from the participation of all its users. So please do not use private messages to ask netX-related questions. Instead, post your query. If do not find a suitable category for your post, you may initially use a more general one.
Please note that cross-posting (posting the same message in multiple forums) is not desired. Articles considered as cross-posted will be deleted.

We kindly ask you to sent standard product related questions (like cifX, comX, cif and com) directly to the hotline. This forum will only handle netX integration related questions for hardware and software issues.

2. Advertisement
The netX support forum is the place to discuss your netX based products and thus it is necessary to post features, roadmaps or the like. However this is no sales promotion board. Please do not post advertisement for your products here.

3. Links
It is not allowed to use links in posts or signatures which lead to offending, illegal or banner sites, etc. Before publishing a link in this forum, please ensure that it is suitable for the forum and applies to our rules. Inappropriate links will be removed and might be censored.

4. Sensitive information
We do our best to protect your privacy, but please keep in mind that this forum is open for the public. Do not post personal information like your phone number, address or sensitive information about your product, even not in private messages. We decline any responsibility for any damages, loss or charges that arise from disregard of this rule.

5. Language
This forum is intended as an international community. We kindly ask you to post your articles in English, so that they can be understood by all our participants. Furthermore please respect your discussion partners. Keep in mind that they are looking for help. Do not use vulgar or offending language. The board's word censoring feature will support you in this task. Please do not make any attempts to circumvent it.

6. Topics
This is a technical forum. It is neither the place to discuss political or religious topics, nor to discuss illegal activities like warez or cracks. Do not include these topics in your profile, signature or avatar.

7. Copyrighted material
If you include copyrighted material in your posts, please ensure that you have a permission to distribute or reproduce it. If you do not have this permission quoting small passages of the material combined with a link to the source is the suggested approach.

8. Number of user accounts
Please limit your activities in the forum to one user account per person. An exception to this rule is the separation of company and private use of this forum, e.g. if you decide to hack the netX in your free time. If you would like to change your username, please contact a member of the admin team.
