i use sycon.net to configuration my cifx50_re card, with the cifxeim.nxf FW. but i noticed that only channel 0 is used. why other channels are not used?:) BTW, what the INIBATCH.NXD is used for?
What you see as "Channel 0" is a CommunicationChannel in the DualPortMemory. This is the lets say UserInterface of the EIM Firmware. It is totaly discoupled from the Physic and has the same layout for a Fieldbus cifX-card and a RealTimeEthernet cifX-card.
This has nothing to do with e.g. on which EthernetPort a frame is received/sent. It has nothing to do with the amount of XCs used by the firmware.
The Inibatch.nxd is a file containing the configuration for the firmware. It is created by the netX Configuration Tool and downloaded to the firmware.
