Use of two different fielbus protocols on the netx 50
Hello,
is it possible to use for example Profibus and Profinet at the same time on a netx 50? I know that there are only 2 communication channels but there my be applications that does not require an integrated switch for Profinet for example.

Hi Torsten,
no that is not possible on the netX50. The Hilscher stack uses the internal switch functionality. This is necessary to fulfill the conformance test requirements.
