Configuring a ETHERCAT Slave via TCP/IP

We would like to configure and monitor a ETHERCAT Slave card vai teh SYCON.NET tool over TCP/IP running in a non-windows PLC.

Are there any code examples on how to do this? Alternatively is there any documentation on the format and sequence of the SyCon.Net TCP/IP protocol?

Hi Tony,

such an example is currently under development. Unfortunately I do not know, when it will be available.

Thats a pity, however is there any documentation from which I can work it out myself?

I have implememnted the same thing on the old SyCon tool, is there any similarity or is the protocol totally different?

Hi Tony,

I think it is not possible to use some of the "old" stuff for netX.

Try to ask the hotline. Maybe they have already something in their drawer.
