WinCE on NetX100

Hi, my question is:
is possible to use WinCE 5.0 or 6.0 on NetX100? and is possbile make some test on NXSB100?

Hello,

yes, you can use WinCE on netX100.
Please note, that the NXSB100 is equipped with a netX500!

But you can do a test on the NXSB100 board. It will not be very easy, because you have only 8MB SDRAM and 4 MB SPI Flash available. You have to build your own CE image, which will fit into the 4MB. You can not do very much on the NXSB100 board, maybe there are around 100k available for your application.

There are two WinCE manuals available.

Please note, that Windows CE for the netX is designed to run from parallel flash.

When using serial flash, you will need to flash the nk_patched.nb0 file via bootwizard. Also Hive-Based registry will not work, as no flash disk is available.

The EBoot bootloader does not support serial flashes at all.
