Hello,
after several problems, we decided, that we don`t work with the NXHX- netX Evaluation Board.
That`s why we ordered the NXEB 500-HMI board, because for this board there exists already a image .
After I got the update for my Linux Board Support Package, I started to install the components of the BSP-Version 1.002 this morning .Now I have an new problem:
In chapter 3.3, when I want to configure the ptxdist-0.10.3 file, there is a error message :
checking for bison... no
configure: error: Please install bison. Now, I have installed flex,m4 and bison 2.1into the ptxdist-0.10.3 directory.
But the message is still there. What`s my fault?
I have deleted all directories of the old BSP-Version.
Was this wrong?
Or in which directory I have to install the bison?Regards
Huemler
Hy Huemler,
you need the bison/yacc/flex as described in the manual.
I did not know the Knoppix Dist. but I think there is also a tool fro software installation like Yast from Suse.
Try to reinstall your bison.

xterm-225How can I solve this problem?
Why are you trying to download the files ?
On the BSP CD in the fodler bsp\ptxdist\ should exists the ptxdist-sources.tar file.
Here is everything included what you need.
How to install the PTXdist is written in the manual on page 12.

I try to download the files, because the ptxdist-sources.tar file do not exist on my BSP CD.
And that`s why I can`t compile without internet access!
This file is missing ? :? Maybe you have an old version of the BSP.
It would be the best to request the latest version from Hilscher.

Hi Huemler,
:? strange. When I click on the links, which you have posted, the download starts.
Do you use a firewall, which blocks the archives ? Or is your Internet connection not ok ?!
